I've been trying to figure out how our DNS is set up. If we go to any
computer on our internal network and type in "http://companyname.com" it will take us to our company website (which is stored on our web server of course). However, if we type in "https://companyname.com/exchange" it will take us to OWA which is stored on our exchange server which is a totally different server. How does it know to access our web server for the first address, but then know to access a whole different server for the second address just because it has the /exchange? Which records on our DNS server would cause this behavior? Thanks in advance!! |
