After many tcp/ip problems (resolved) on a w2k server domain controler, I
had to reinstall AD integrated DNS server,
The problem is that it is uncomplete, (nothing like _msdc or _site in the
tree)
I uninstalled and reinstalled dns server several times without success.

The DC and all other AD domain members must point only to the internal DNS
server, and the Primary DNS suffix must match the AD DNS Domain name and
zone name.
Also, if the AD Domain name is a single-label name e.g. "domain" instead of
"domain.com" DNS registration won't work. In addition, the DHCP Client
service is required for DNS registrations.

I have had luck in the past running netdiag /fix on the DC's to re-populate
those missing records.
