Hi.
I'm using an ssh connection via cygwin sshd to a windows 2003 DNS server. This is very useful for running dnscmd, however when using dnscmd /recorddelete <zone name> <node name> <node type> I get no output, where I should be getting an "are you sure" message. The same occurs if I use nsoft's ssh server for windows powershell, or indeed any shell via the cygwin ssh daemon. e.g. running cmd.exe first has the same effect. The only difference is that using windows powershell just after installing it via remote desktop, when I run the command above via ssh, the "are you sure" prompt does appear, but *on the remote desktop*!! Currently working around this by typing echo 'y' | dnscmd /recorddelete <zone name> <node name> <node type> to dismiss the prompt automatically, but this is far from ideal! |
