Hi everyone,
I have 3 computers running XP and one running Server 2003 connected to DLink router. XP clients get dynamic IP from DLink router. I would like to configure DHCP server on Windows server 2003 also. I want to connect only one XP client to Server that can obtain IP automatically from Server. The IP address of DLink is 192.168.0.1 and that of Server is 192.168.0.10. How can I configure DNS and DHCP on Windows Server 2003? Thanks. |

Sorry about the previous post
)It seems to be a pretty small Network. Why in the world would you want to configure 2 DHCP Servers ? I understand the Router is the DHCP at this point. If you need to configure it on the Win 2003 Server, you might have to disable the DHCP functionality on the DLink, install the DHCP, DNS on the Server and configure it. Any specific reason ?? -- jesmin ningthoujam SBS (PSS) --------------------------------------------- "Dave_R" <DaveR@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9591D19D-FA09-46AE-B714-1049F444F453@microsoft.com... > Hi everyone, > I have 3 computers running XP and one running Server 2003 connected to > DLink > router.
