After a clean install WY3K enterprise on DC with SP2, these two errors are
generated in the DNS log. It seems a SP2 problem, does anyone have solution? thanks, Tom Beekmans The description for Event ID ( 4521 ) in Source ( DNS ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 9002; .. The DNS server has encountered numerous run-time events. To determine the initial cause of these run-time events, examine the DNS server event log entries that preceded these run-time events. The data is the number of events that have been suppressed in the last 60 minute interval. |

Tom,
See my 3/19/07 thread "EventID 4521 warning after SP2 upgrade" about this topic. - Ron "Tom Beekmans" wrote: > After a clean install WY3K enterprise on DC with SP2, these two errors are > generated in the DNS log. > It seems a SP2 problem, does anyone have solution? > > thanks, > > Tom Beekmans > > > The description for Event ID ( 4521 ) in Source ( DNS ) cannot be found.
