Please bear with me, I'm a noob when it comes to DNS management. I've been
having an intermittent problem with my DNS server. Sometimes client requests time out. And other times, it runs like a champ. There are no event logs on the server, it sometimes just does not respond and the requests time out. I believe the source of my problem is that my server is running many things, like Exchange and being a DC, and can't keep up with all the requests. Unfortunately, I'm in an environment where I need 1 server to do many tasks. My question is....which perfmon counters or other diagnostics can I use to track to see what requests the server is getting and what it's acutally responding to? Thanks, Jonathan |
