hey

i don't arrive to find out the good answer for a point:

i have a dns zone = test.loc
on my dns server i made a forwarder for the zone titi.loc

question
can my forwarding resole name for coco.titi.loc ? (sub domaine for titi.loc)
or can it only resolve name for titi.loc and not for sub domaine of titi.loc

thanks

Yes.

This is called "conditinal forwarding" and attempt to resolve all names
ending in this suffix, no matter how complex, by default.

By default it will do the WHOLE "tree" (titi.loc) from there down.

UNLESS you add another conditional forwarder for the child zone to
override and do directly to a different DNS server (set) for the rest
of the child (tree.)

Sure. Sorry for the misspelling "conditional":

>> This is called "conditinal forwarding" and attempt to resolve all names
>> ending in this suffix, no matter how complex, by default.

Should be: This is called "conditional forwarding".
