Hi,

When I run "netdiag /testNS" on my 2003 DC, it does not pass, even though
there are no DNS problems that I can see. When I check the DNS registration,
everything seems fine. Following is the result that I get from the test:

DNS test . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
[WARNING] The DNS entries for this DC are not registered correctly on
DNS se
rver '10.1.200.6'. Please wait for 30 minutes for DNS server replication.
[WARNING] The DNS entries for this DC are not registered correctly on
DNS se
rver '10.1.200.5'. Please wait for 30 minutes for DNS server replication.
[FATAL] No DNS servers have the DNS records for this DC registered.

I don't see anything obvious on the DC to indicate any problems with DNS.
Does anyone know why this test is failing and what would be causing this
issue. Thanks.

Try netdiag /fix then run netdiag /test:dns /debug

Thanks for your reply. I have already tried "netdiag /fix" unfortunately it
did not . and I ran the netdiag /test:dns /debug as well but there's so
much information in the output, I don't know what to look for. Any other
suggestions?
