Hello,

I'm experiencing a weird issue here and am wondering if it has to do
with my ISP's dns.
A friend of mine has a business and when he sends me email, I don't
receive it, and yet when he sends to someone else with an SBC account,
they get it. I do get his email on yahoo, hotmail etc...just not this
SBC account. I checked to see if he was black listed and he wasn't.

Does he get an error message back saying the email wasn't delivered, or does
it just vanish into thin air?

If he gets an error, what does the error say? Do you know how to look at
email headers? They are often very informative.

The problem could be a number of things. One thing you might check is
whether or not your email server has a matching forward and reverse DNS
entry. If it doesn't, this will sometimes cause email servers to refuse to
talk to other email servers. See the link below for some information about
