I received an email from our T1 provider telling me that they were
discontinuing services on some of their DNS servers. We were given a list of their new local DNS servers. Our T1 comes in via their Netopia router. Then it travels to our router. We run DHCP and DNS off of a Windows server. When I changed the DNS settings on our router I can no longer ping. It just times out. Everything else seems to work fine, though. When I change back to the old DNS servers (which weren't even the ones they mentioned) I can ping again. Any ideas? |

I tried everything! I finally called the T1 provider, and asked them
what DNS servers I should have in there. They gave me the correct information, and everything is normal now. MichLF wrote: > Hi there ! > How the nslookup works after that change ?
