Par défaut DNS O WINS

Hi,

We have create a forrest using windows 2003 R2, in the forrest we have a
ROOT Domain and 5 child domians an all have DC with DNS servers. when i´m in
the root and i ping a server by their NETBIOS that is in the root domain it
resolves the FQDN but when i ping a Server in other domain it not resolve by
using NETBIOS and when i go to other domain only we reolve NETBIOS the PC or
server that are in the domain and and the root but not the others.

We already check the replication of the DNS ZONES and thier is no problem.
How i con resolve this.

Thanks,
JJ

Run DCDiag on all DCs. Fix any WARN, FAIL, or ERROR messages
or post the EXACT output here (send to a text file) without editing it.

Post your "Ipconfig /all" from a sample machine which experences the
problem. (send to a text file, post without editing.)

Check the affected machine to ensure it KNOWS its own domain name
in the SYSTEM CONTROL Panel AND in DHCP if the address dynamic.

By adding the DNS suffix of all domains to the DNS suffix search list.
If you are using WINS, you can also add WINS lookup to the parent DNS zone.
The parent DNS suffix is the only suffix that is in all suffix search lists
on all domains.
