Hi
You need to delegate the child zone, on the Top Dns server, you also need to make sure that the child domain can resolve the top root domain, you can do this by setting up forwarding, stub zone or secondary, it's up to you. To acomplish this read the following: Best practices for DNS client settings in Windows 2000 Server and in Windows Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825036/en-us DNS Conditional Forwarding in Windows Server 2003 http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...rver_2003.html DNS Stub Zones in Windows Server 2003 http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...tub_Zones.html How To Create a Child Domain in Active Directory and Delegate the DNS Namespace to the Child Domain http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255248/ -- I hope that the information above s you Good Luck Jorge Silva MCSA Systems Administrator "Rino[]" <r.quaglieri@airfire.it> wrote in message news:uH2UBmMrGHA.2464@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > HI, > > I have an Active Directory Forest with 2 domains: Afdomain.airfire.it > (Parent with 2 DC and 1 DNS server) and Afmilano.Afdomain.airfire.it > (Child whit 1 DC and 1 DNS server) > > How I must Configure my 2 DNS servers?? > I would want that every domain it had just the DNS Server, and the two > Servers was connects to you between they !! > > than you and bye bye > |
