Presently I am using spamcop and a bunch of users are complaining
because of aol rejections. I am thinking of switching to spamhaus.
Can anyone please tell my your opinion on spamhaus. Advantages and
disadvantages and any experience using them

Spamhaus is absolutely one of the best RBL services out there. I've used it
extensively for high volume business systems, and at home.


Here's what I'm currently using at home. The only one I'll vouch for is Spamhaus.

Spamhaus has been an integral part of our spam abatement methods at my
company and it's even out-blocking the Trend Micro RBL (by roughly
2x!!!). On a week-to-week basis we routinely block 30k+ messages using
Spamhaus, and the configuration is super easy. IMO it's one of the
best uses of time in terms of eliminating spam. Do it!

The Spamhaus SBL-XBL list is a great DNSbl. It it is highly effective and
very low-risk in regard to collateral damage.
