I personally do not think this is a permissions issue. I have gone through the
reset permissions routine, and still safari crashes with flash plugin active. I have installed any and every version suggested, to no avail. I have the latest OS/X upgrade, along with safari update. Still it crashes when I visit a flash site. And it is not biased to powerPC...I have an Intel/MacBook Pro. Ed |

The flash player forum is here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforu...184&forumid=44 Safari always had, have and will always have problems with upcoming online based technologies including flash. You should also have issues playing real media ![]() |

I agree with your points about repairing permissions and install older 9
versions as I also tried them all, and more, several times, over and over again. There might be a fix there for someone, but clearly not everyone. My setup is: Mac Mini Duo Core (Intel), OS X 10.5.3, with updated versions of: Safari, Firefox, VCL, Silverlight, Flip4Mac, Quicktime, DivX. I also tried to uninstall my other mediaplayers, but that did not solve the flash issue. I finally reinstalled the OS, which worked for a few days and then the flash browser crash problem appeared from nowhere. Lets fix this dudes :-) |
