Could someone please me
I have a video section on my site that is streaming in FLVs using the media playback component. I am working in actionscript 2 and publishing to flash player 9. I am trying to add a preloader. The preloader method I usually use ( which is a separate swf with some actionscript code in it that points at the the main swf) makes the audio in the FLVs distort badly. I wondered if there were any good tutorials available for producing preloaders or any advice anyone could give. Thanks m |

Still trying to use a preloader whilst loading an external swf into a
movieclip... I have made a bytes based preloader over 2 frames at the start of the swf. The swf contains a list component (showing the .FLVs available on the page) and the media playback component (that plays back the .FLVs). The preloader works but the list items don't appear and the playback component loses it's buttons. I am aware that the problem is to do with setting the linkage for the components NOT to load into the first frame and specifying the correct export frame for classes (3) these problems persist. Any much appreiated. m |
