I took over maintenance of an existing web site for a client
(http://www.nhcornerstone.org), and there are some strange things happening with their menu, which is a Flash movie (which I did not create). The original design team looks to have assembled templates using Dreamweaver, and used a ..swf for the left nav. menu. Although I have never had a problem with navigating the site, 4 people (one being the organization's founder) have reported that the links are dead (so visible, but non-functioning) on the menu. I know one user is on a PC/windows/Firefox, and the other is on a Mac/OS 10.4 (or 10.5?)/Firefox. I am on a Mac/OS 10.3.9/Firefox, and I can't replicate this problem in Firefox, Navigator, Opera, Safari, or Explorer. To complicate matters, the founder says that it only happens sometimes, and when she clicks the bottom right link to their sister site, http://www.cpraction.org/ , and then navigates from that site back to http://www.nhcornerstone.org (by clicking a link at the bottom right of that site), the menu is then fine. I'm confused. Any ideas? Thanks so much! |

This may be an XML issue. When I try to go to look at the XML that powers the Flash menu I get a not well-formed error.
