hello there,
ok. i am pretty new to flash still and am wondering if someone can shed some light on a certain topic here to kind've set me in the right direction. What i'm wanting to do is mix an animation i made with actual real video interspersed in parts between the animation frames. is this possible in flash? and if so, what kind of video format should i export to (i'm using avid xpress DV for PC) and is there a link or somewhere of documentation on how to import and set the video on the stage? any hints, tips, advice in this area would be of great ... |

What you could export from avid is a QuickTime, that is usually what we do,
then either compress it to and FLV format, or import the QT right into flash and have flash do the compressing. What you would probably want to do is embed the video into the timeline and then work around it that way. Search embed video into flash on google and you will comeup with plenty of tutorials, etc. |
