A very rudimentary question:
I design a lot of Flash Web sites. To avoid the reload nad replay of the site "intro", I usually open all subsequent pages in a _blank window. I haven't checked in a long time. Does anyone have an approach to launching a Flash home page, having it call pages in the same browser window and returning to the homepage without the Flash intro reloading and replaying? Thanks for any ideas.... AAK |

there is a solution for that, Use the action loadMovie to load the other sections of your site on the same SWF and HTML.

Daniel,
I'm not sure I know what you mean. The home page is an almost-full-screen SWF. All the other pages are HTML. So, If I call an HTML page (can't be loaded with loadmovie, right?) and the user clicks the back button on the browser, the homepage replays from scratch. I'm using loadmovie for some other things like an image viewer. What I was concerned with is the HTML pages. Thanks in advance... AAK |
