Hey guys-

I have been compressing a web series through Compressor from FCP on my G5 Mac.
I am trying to get the best looking video I can get so I have been using the
H264 codec and then changed the name, after Compression, from m4p to flv.
This changes the file but when I go into Flash and try and connect it to my
Flash Skin via Component Inspector-Source I get this "failed to load flv"
message. I am using Flash 9 so there should be no problems. Does this have
something to do with it not actually being an flv file???

Any suggestions would be very ful.

sounds more like a path issue - check the contentPath and make sure the file location matches.

thanks for the quick response. If it is a path issue I have no ides how to
solve it. I have double and triple checked that the folder is in the right
content path. The flv file is on my desktop, in the root:
/Users/gabrielcullen/Desktop/auidition.flv

I have also tried moving the flv to my flash folder and working out of there
but that gives me the same message. I am truly confused.
