I want to link a single frame in a banner to an external website, but I don't
know how to. If I insert a slice or hotspot it appears on all three frames instead of the one selected and the link to the website doesn't work. Hope somebody can me. Thanks! |

It's not a limitation of FW, it's a limitation of the GIF format. As far as the browser is concerned, an animated GIF is still only one image. For this kind of flexibility, you would need to turn to Flash. -- Jim Babbage - .:Community MX:. & .:Adobe Community Expert:. http://www.communityMX.com/ CommunityMX - Free Resources: http://www.communitymx.com/free.cfm --- .:Adobe Community Expert for Fireworks:. good question, I tried but didn't figure it out either. Jpg didn't do the
trick. I have somebody making a "ticker" for me now. Don't know too much about it but it's (ajax) javascript and uses a text file with absolute paths to different images as source file. |
