Actually, what you call "optimize" is really the Default Export dropdown menu in the Property Inspector, but it shouldn't behave that way. Luckily, you can set export options at another location that doesn't reset the frame delay. Just do the following: [num] 1. Click File >> Export Preview ( or Ctrl+Shift+X) 2. In the Export Preview window, locate the Format dropdown menu under the Options tab. Set it to "Animated GIF" 3. You can optimize your export using the Palette dropdown menu. (If you'd like to go with the Property Inspector's settings, pick WebSnap Adaptive) 4. Switch to the Animation tab, and confirm that your frame delay values are preserved. When everything's fine, hit OK or Export. Although the Property Inspector may still not recognise your export choices, it's already set as default. Just bring up the Export Preview again, and you will see that it "remembers" your previous settings. Hope that s. :-) [/num] |
