hello;

I have a grey blob; I would like to get fireworks to trace the outline of the
blob and convert it to a vector;

is this possible without manually tracing the blob shape with the pen tool?

Use the magic wand to select the blob (assuming it's either a solid
color or similar colors}.

Go to Select > Convert Marquee to Path
