Par défaut Gradient Adjustments???

Does anybody remember an extension for Fireworks 8 that allowed you to
easily adjust the angle of a linear gradient - say from horizontal to
vertical???

No, but instead of using the Gradient tool in the Property Inspector try
using the Paint Bucket tool in the Tools menu on the left hand side. If you
click and hold on the Paint Bucket, a drop down should appear, select the
Gradient tool option, that tool behaves much better used in conjunction with
the shift key to get accurate horizontal, vertical and 45 degree angles.

Yes, it was called Fill Handle Assistant and was created by Kleanthis
Economou from the Fireworks Project who's Web site is sadly no longer
around. I have no idea where you may download it now.

That should do the job too but I'm getting weird results. Kleanthis'
Fill Handles Assistant panel worked really well and gave more precision
and features but it's not on the exchange even if several more of his
extensions are.

On the other hand, Grant Hinkson's Gradient Panel will do the job of
flipping gradients horizontally and vertically quite well in addition to
giving far more control over gradient swatches:
