I am new to CS3 templates...and CS3. When I created a new html doc from my
template all the links to my images get changed from .shadowR { background-image: url(../shadR.png); background-repeat: repeat-y; } TO .shadowR { background-image: url(file:///E|/SiteNEW/shadR.png); background-repeat: repeat-y; } Which is the local location of the file. I can upload / preview all of my html files with no issues. I can't seem to figure out why it's doing this with just my files from templates. Please ! |

What you describe is normal BEFORE you save that new file. Try saving it -

I assume you are working within a defined site in DW, and that all your
files are within the local root folder? -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "bcPaul" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:gcri52$jom$1@forums.macromedia.com... >I have saved it...still same problem. ??? |

In order for this to work I have to create a testing server. No testing server
= links stay as local (ie c:\web\img.png) I thought it would change this automatically when I upload it. What am I doing wrong here? |

You do not need a testing server defined unless you are developing pages
that contain server scripting. > What am I doing wrong here? Hard to say. Tell us the path to your local root folder as shown in the local site definition, please. -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "bcPaul" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:gcrjda$l1t$1@forums.macromedia.com... > In order for this to work I have to create a testing server.
