I have DW CS3 and I created a website. On the index page I have an instance of
the DW CS3 flash player pointing to an FLV stream in the host server. The
player shows as a ungly black rectangle with a control panel. Once I click on
play all goes well. In a dream world I would like to put a nice picture that
would show instead of the ugly black rectangle. I am not a programer and have
no clue really. I used the menu commands and thanks to DW it all looks good
and works. All except this ugly black box. Could someone me learn how to
put a static image on top of the player to get rid of the ugly black rectangle?

I don't know which version of DW created this following example or what video
player, but I am looking for the SAME EFFECT. Thank you.

Have you tried using a video with its first frame other than black?
