I have items listed on start menu that I cannot seem to remove? In site manage
menu the items are not listed so I can highlight them and remove them? Some are sites I want to keep. Other items I want to remove. Any ideas? |

Huh?
You mean the Windows Start menu? What is it you want to do? -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "bapaw" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:g4ep3b$7cc$1@forums.macromedia.com... >I have items listed on start menu that I cannot seem to remove? do you mean the recent pages list on the dw start panel?
suggestion: ignore them. they will scroll off after opening a dozen or so new pages. if bothered by them and do want to remove them: I tried to do a googles group search to find the answer but it didn't pop up- it's been posted once or twice. It involves an edit of the windows Registry file. -- Alan Adobe Community Expert, dreamweaver http://www.adobe.com/communities/experts/ |

Yes...I would like to remove most of the listing but cannot find out how to do
it. Alan in reply below says just ignore them and they will scroll off after you do enough different sites. OK, but I would still like to remove most of them since they are old listings. Also how do I get panels to lock-in on right side of screen? I can get panels to appear but they won't stay locked with the small arrow icon to open or close panels. Also the Property panel at the bottom is missing the small arrow icon to open and close it. Thanks. |

Hello Alan...thanks for your reply. When you get time please read the rest of my inquiry about panels in Dreamweaver8? Appreciate any suggestions you may have?

Hello Alan...hate to say it but I'm back still trying to get an answer to
previous post on 7/3/08 about panels in Dreamweaver8? Here's the deal I have three fat books on Dreamweaver8, but none tell me how to delete listed items on site/start page? Yes, you said ignore them. Ok, but I still want to delete them. Now the panels for CSS and files, etc won't stay locked in position to the right of screen. Also the prperty screen at the bottom won't stay locked in position at the bottom. Both are missing the little arrows to open/close panels? No book or tutorial covers these problems. Any thots? Thanks. |
