All CSS all the time? No tables ever?
Here's an example of a typical page on my company's website:
http://www.hillphoenix.com/web_redes...alesIndex.html The two main columns are created via CSS. The rows of six items are created in the right-hand column using a table. I've been reading some things online, and am in need of clarification. Should I use only CSS for page layout? Is it practical to create this page using only CSS? Is it still okay to use tables in an instance like this? Please enlighten me! thanks in advance! |

There ain't no *should* here. Use tables if you want. Zealots will tell
you that tables must only be used for tabular data, and technically, they are correct. But there are no police who ticket you for table use. If that's how you build pages, then that's how you build pages! Be aware, however, that tables are not great for accessability - people who must use screen assistive devices can often be confused by your tables, because their content is read left to right, top to bottom.
