Par défaut FLASH Files reduce in size on preview in IE 6 & IE 7

I have Adobe CS3 Suite running on a Dell M90 which is connected to an LG 24
inch widescreen monitor.

I Opened a PHP document and embed a Flash File in page at 498x332.
My file which is a revolving banner is edge to edge and fills all of those
dimensions.

When I preview it in Mozilla firefox it displays perfectly.

When I preview it in IE 6 it shows at 498x332 but with the flash file size
reduced within those dimensions.

I then updated to IE7 and it displays the same.

I uploaded my files to my server and previewed on my old PC and IE 7 diplays
it perfectly.

What gives?
I am going to be severely disadvantaged if I cannot preview my Flash files
properly on my Working machine in IE.

Thanks for that Aaron.

Thing is you will probably see it fine in your IE

Is my IE frigged up some way?
I noticed it dying on me in the past few weeks too.
I'd be browsing and window would just hang and I'd have to close and open a
new window.

what I am seeing in IE 7.

I upgraded to IE 7 from 6 because I thought it might resolve my issues but it
didn't.

The flash seems fine on 3 browsers. IE6, FF3, Safari 3.1. But I'm seeing a
bunch of other problems.

First, your links to stylesheets belong between the <head> and </head> tags.
Not inside the <body> </body> tags. Move this (it appears to be inside a
library item)

<link href="../../SpryAssets/SpyHorizontalMenu.css" rel="stylesheet"
type="text/css">

Div ID Names can be used only once per page. Not multiple times as you have
done.
<div id="photostorybox498">
<div id="photostorybox498-photo"><img
src="../images/ftv-B-BTP-02035_120x80.jpg" alt="IT Centre, Ferbane"
width="120" height="80" border="0" /></div>
<div id="photostorybox498-headline">

Last but not least, you're using APs (aka layers) which will break your
heart and your webpages. Increase text size and see what happens to your
page.

Thanks for taking the time for that detailed response Nancy.

I will certainly work through them.

It doesn't answer my problem though as you can see from this page which has no
stylesheets or anything else apart from the Flash file.

I did say you will probably see it working fine as I do on Ie on my other PC.

What is the problem with mine though?

Could be a bad installation. Do you have all the latest updates for IE7 yet?

I do Nancy yes...dowloaded it last week.

Thought it would fix the problem of IE 6 but no go.

Mulder And Scully Job as I am out of ideas.

I think though if you check out a site like cbs.com and increase the text it
will break the design.....you can drive yourself nuts with perfecting and
trying to find a design that looks year 2000 web design or functioning
webdesign.

Anyone from Adobe got any idea of this?

Am sure someone has come accross this at some stage?
