I understand how i add form validation for individual text fields. I am
however unable to find how to effectibvely and easily remove validation for
just one form field (text field)

Ideas ??

Hello,

It depends on what the script is that is doing the validation.
If you could post the form and the validation script, someone will be able
to tell you.
Is it Javascript, ASP, PHP, etc....

My apologies i forgot the most important part. I am talking about the dw spry form validation. Sorry.

I haven't used the Spry Validation, but I'll bet someone can .

Click in the text field, and then click on the blue SPRY tab that you see,
to select the SPRY part of the field. Note the INSTANCE number in the code
(it will say something like SpryTextField4). With that tab highlighted,
press DELETE.

Then at the bottom of the page, find the javascript line the defines that
SPRY validation step, and delete it.
