I was wondering if anyone can me out. I've been searching for a solution
for days now, but with no luck =(

I'm having some problems working with the templates. I created a site
containing many pages, and after completion I decided to put them in various
subfolders to clean the directory up.

When I try updating the templates, the images/style sheets/etc. of those moved
files usually fail to load (I'm assuming since their paths are no longer
correct and valid). Is there a way to correct this? I'm fairly new to
Dreamweaver, so I'm not accustomed to the whole process.

Did you move the file directly on the hard drive, or did you move them using
Dw's Files Panel?

guessing that the css links are in a locked area of the template?
Open the template, and do a broken link check, fix the problems, then save
the template and let dw update the files.

I moved the files using the DW's file panel.

When I moved them initially, the paths of the images/style sheets/etc were
updated. However, they get broken once I update their template parents.

I don't think I can change their paths manually as they are not under an
editable region.

in this site definiton, in the local info section (click the advanced tab)

what is selected for "Links are relative to: document / site root

The option selected for "links relative to" is "site root".

Are the paths correct IN the template?

The paths are correct in the template, but the paths are INcorrect in the child pages moved to the subfolders

Edit:

Woops, I guess theres a flaw in what I'm doing. The template I used specifies
the path to the images/style sheets/etc directly from the root (so when I move
them it obviously gets broken)

Is there any possible solution to this? Or am I restricted to storing all of
the files in only one folder?
