I'm not a newbie, I just been out of it for a while, my last site was in DW 3
back in 01, then I did a Flash makeover in 02 and want re do my site. If you look in the link you will see what I want to do. i just need to know the best way to do it. I now am in DW8 , any suggestions after looking at the BASIC IDEA link? rderfhttp://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j149/ralphiedee/BASICIDEA.jpg |

What version of DW will you be using? If DW8 or DWCS3, they both come with
sample layouts that are exactly this. -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "mentlity" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:g2uko0$2du$1@forums.macromedia.com... > I'm not a newbie, I just been out of it for a while, my last site was in > DW 3 > back in 01, then I did a Flash makeover in 02 and want re do my site. They are hard to build if you don't know what you are doing, add usability problems, and require additional code if you want to make it accessible and search engine friendly. -Darrel |

OK, found a nice templete. Am I right to say that if I had 10 pages of info I
would copy and link the same page each page as a different name with different info example main templete, html nav 1 link to main templete2 (different page name) nav 2 link to main templete3 (different page name) so on and so forth so I would be changing the info on each templete. Is this the best way to do? I was under the impression that I would be able to build a page with the nav left and top always remaining and the middle be the page that changes, I see where it would give me the same effect if I did it the way I explained. Am right here?? Reason I ask is a did a Flash site sometime ago and I was able to load an swf /html page in the middle while leaving my nav bar. But you are the expert. |
