Hello, I want to insert a line, or two from an external .txt or xml file into
an HTML file.
How can this be done?

It's just a line with a date, that the administrator should be able to change,
just uploading a text file (or similar)

Should I just "Save As" my html page as a php file to use the SSI?

How do I do the same with XML? Isn't it easier?

well you can use php = like I do - and that has good include support,
but if you don't need php - just use html include, and the files
normally should be.shtml

sorry I don't use XML so can't there.
