I am not sure why this is, but lately I've been having issues with
Dreamweaver...I open the program with no problem, however as soon as I go to open a page within my website, Dreamweaver displays "not responding" on the top title bar where it says Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. Does anyone have any idea why? I wish I could go back to my previous version of Windows...I am not liking Vista at all!!!! Does anyone know if I can do that? :confused; |

It is not a Vista problem per se. Dreamweaver MX predates Vista by 5 years.
Dreamweaver MX is not compatible with Vista. Dreamweaver MX was a version you should run away from. Upgrade to Dreamweaver CS3 and it will likely run just fine in Vista. Given Adobe's current upgrade policy, if you do not upgrade now, you will lose the upgrade path to the next version of Dreamweaver, assuming they stay with the no more than 3 versions back policy. Depending on your computer vendor... yes, you can "upgrade" Vista to XP
You need to check with the place you bought your computer |
