Whenever I click on the NEW SITE button or EDIT SITE button in the site
manager, my dreamweaver freezes up for like 20 seconds. Everything else works
fine. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. happens on both of my computers at
home, one of them runs an antivirus scanner and the other does not. Does
anyone know what causes this horrible delay?:confused;

Try deleteing the site cache folder.

Where abouts is the site cache folder located please?

You'll find the cache folder in the Files Window - There is a small icon at
the top right side - select it and choose site from the Drop down menu. Select
the Advanced tag and local Site and at the bottom there is a box called Cache.
Make sure there is no tick in it.

Will this erase any of my sites at all? I have about 8 of them all setup with
ftp and don't want to lose any of that data before attempting this. Please
confirm whether or not I'll lose anything If I try this.
