(please cc me in replies)
Hello, I'm wondering what to do when an update to a Debian bug report is not showing up on bugs.debian.org and not getting relayed to the bug subscribers. How do I file a bug report about BTS? The bug in question is #399480 and I updated the patches to the newer version links2, but the emails are not showing up on http://bugs.debian.org/399480 and I'm not receiving any email infrastructure related errors either. The package maintainer was cc'd on the emails and he has received my mails. The original message id is <20080124141300.GD5804@fitfioullt278> and I resent a few days later with <20080128131522.GE4546@fitfioullt278>. I'm buffled. Any ideas on what to do next? -Mikko -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@lists.debian.org |

With reportbug, as you would do for any other package; the name of the BTS pseudo package is `bugs.debian.org'. > The bug in question is #399480 and I updated the patches to the newer > version links2, but the emails are not showing up on > http://bugs.debian.org/399480 and I'm not receiving any email > infrastructure related errors either. > > The package maintainer was cc'd on the emails and he has received my > mails. Apart from filing a bug against bugs.debian.org: no. It's unclear where in the SMTP chain your mails were lost. Ah, reportbug -> other -> 3 bugs.debian.org. I couldn't find this info with web searches or from bugs.debian.org, thanks. > Apart from filing a bug against bugs.debian.org: no. Both failed without errors and local exim4 and msmtp logs show that the mails passed ok to the first smtp server. -Mikko -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
