Hi! How can i make Debian etch use localtime zone as Etch's system time? I've
a dual boot system with winxp. My bios uses local time zone as hardware clock. winxp also uses that. But Etch uses UTC. I want Etch to recognize Local time zone. I don't want to use UTC. How can i prevent Etch from using UTC(prevent UTC time from loading)? Thanks. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? The problem is solved. I didn't modify the time in gnome clock after editing /etc/default/rcS . Thought it would do it automatically. Silly me! After all that and reboot it shows the correct time.
