Hello,
i've installed an additional PCI USB controller card to have USB 2.0 support in an older computer. Why it won't work is that the cmos machine needs a flash update provided
of course one is available for that machine. Try to get a cmos update later than December 1998 and as recent as possible and you my find that problem disappears.
