Hallo,
could someone please explain me why the following cronjob generates an empy file when copy-pasting the command to console generates a "full" file? It's in roots crontab created with crontab -e 00 21 * * * /usr/local/ldap/sbin/slapcat > /var/backups/ldap/dumps/slapdump.`date +\%g\%m\%d_\%k:\%M` Debian version is etch. tia, angela -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
