Hello. I cannot get the following video news site working:
<http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/Page/document/video/vs?id=RTGAM.20070531.wvclipoftheweek0529> I use Etch, with epiphany. I have w32codecs, mplayer, and mozplugger installed. Epiphany has both javascript and java enabled. Can anyone else view videos here, or is this site a lost cause for Linux computers? That is the mozilla-mplayer package in Etch. I'm on dialup, so never expect much, but am getting snippets of audio from the site. It says it's using windows media for it's streams. These work with just about everything else. The plugin just went into an endless loop. Running mplayer from the commandline gave me this: Playing http://ad.ca.doubleclick.net/pfadx/v....com/video/ctv. Resolving ad.ca.doubleclick.net for AF_INET6... The G&M server is pig-slow so you have to wait but gnu/linux still rules!
