Hello,

How can I install etch to fakeraid (I need a dual boot system) with netinst cd?
The partition manager doesn't see my raid.
I tried with modules=dmraid-udeb and dmraid -ay, but I don't know what to do.

my controller: ICH8R

Don't use fakeraid. It is crap. Use the software RAID that is in the
kernel instead.

Why?
I need a dual boot system (linux/win).

The fakeraid on many newer motherboards is the worst of all worlds.
Most don't have a battery backup (which means that if you suddenly lose
power in addition to the possibility of your data getting screwed up by
all the normal means, it can also end up incosistent because the
fakeraid chipset messed it up). If your motherboard gets trashed, the
disks can only be accessed on another identical fakeraid chipset
(possibly even only on the same motherboard, depending on if the
motherboard manufacturer has customized the fakeraid at all). Their
performance is generally no better than the Linux software RAID.

So, then create two partitions on each of your two disks. Install Linux
across two of them using Linux software RAID and install windows across
the other two using Windows software RAID.

You cannot install windows on a software raided partition. Win Installer cannot detect the LVM.
