Hi all,
Believe it or not I actually have an on topic discussion I'd like to start.... ![]() I contacted one of the Spokane, WA radio stations because I could not listen to their streaming audio and received a response asking what I would recommend as the person was very unhappy with what he was currently using. What I'm asking here is, what open source friendly streaming audio protocols are the best one's out there and why? I would like to give this guy an intelligent answer. TIA -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@lists.debian.org |

I live in Spokane and I spend advertising dollars on radio, so... who was it? I'll put boots on the ground and see what I can do to from here. I'd be happy to them get something going as I could use the learning experience and come really really cheap. > > What I'm asking here is, what open source friendly streaming audio > protocols are the best one's out there and why? This way intelligent listeners can save some bandwidth and still have the same audio quality. Regards, Andrei -- If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
