I have been having an issue with a print queue going down. In another
post, I was told about being able to set the printer intervention to send email when the queue goes down. This works great but I would like the system to try several times to restart the queue before sending the email. When I set the retry, I noticed that the system would no longer email me. Is there a way to have both? There is a third intervention option to "Run Script" but I do not have enough Unix expertise to create a script or even know how to go about doing it. Any is appreciated. -Thanks |
