If I use IPERF to send a large test data file from my laptop to my
desktop computer to measure throughput, what happens to the data once the transmission is complete? Do I have to manually delete the test file from my desktop computer? If so, what is the default location for the file? |

The only file that the documentation says it creates is the one for messages from the program if you use the -o <filename> option. So I assume that it just discards the data that it receives. -- Barry Margolin, barmar@alum.mit.edu Arlington, MA *** PLEASE post questions in newsgroups, not directly to me *** *** PLEASE don't copy me on replies, I'll read them in the group *** |
