do last and next ip address exist when an ip packet is in routing? if
so, then the ip packet may look something like this: source address last address next address destination address other fields are ignored. |

I cannot think of anything corresponding to what you are talking about. IP routing does not involve using chains of IP addresses, not unless you are using one of the two "source routing" options which few people use these days (and which are often actively filtered out by security gateways to prevent their use.) |
