Par défaut Problem with multicast if more than one ip address applied to the network adapter

Windows XP dose not send igmp v3 membership report message every 60
sec if more than one ip address is applied to the network adapter, it
only send the igmp v3 membership report message when a program is
joining or leaving a multicast group. Can anyone me here?

The IGMP membership report is this functionality controlled by the
tcpip socket or the driver for the network adaptor?

That sounds like correct behavior to me. What are you trying to
accomplish?

I have a program using multicast voice calls. When I am joining a
multicast group and only one IP address is configured in the network
adaptor, the IGMP membership report is repeated continuously every 60
seconds on the network.
If I add another IP address to the network adapter the transmission of
IGMP membership reports stops after some time. Why do I have a
different behaviour if more than one IP address is applied to the
network adaptor? I do not se any difference.
