using sendmail or red hat enterprise 4
have edited sendmail.mc to specify smarthost then run m4 on it checked the sendmail.cf file for an entry after DS specifying the mail relay all good restart sendmail checked by using ls -ul that the sendmail.cf file has been read , it has It still doesnt send amil to the realy specified. in the mail.log file says its trying to connect to relay on localhost 127.0.0.1 Why ? George |

Sendmail.cf you generated drives daemon listening on 127.0.0.1:25.
