Thanks, after installing Perl module, the MailScanner can be started,
However, we cannot receive email from the mail server although I send from the extemal mail account, why? Is the mail all dropped by the MailScanner? Please advise. It's not unlikely you'll be compromised sooner or later with your aged distro connected to the internet and get a source of ratware, being blacklisted on any list. Good luck getting your IP out of those lists again. Do yourself a big favor and upgrade the box to something recent or ask someone who can do this for you and keep it updated. You need to check the logs for problems with mail reception in any case. Good luck -- Michael Heiming (X-PGP-Sig > GPG-Key ID: EDD27B94) mail: echo zvpunry@urvzvat.qr | perl -pe 'y/a-z/n-za-m/' #bofh excuse 121: halon system went off and killed the operators. |
