Alright, I have a CentOS 4.4 server that I manage with
Webmin/Virtualmin. I have Sendmail 8.13.1 installed by default with yum. I only have a problem with it accepting mail from outside sources. The users can receive mail sent by another local user and they can send mail perfectly. When I try to send an email to an account on the server with Gmail, it doesn't make it to the user's mailbox. I don't see anything in the maillog about it, and I don't receive any "returned to sender" message. I have all the domains in the local domains file. Any ideas? |

Did you setup DNS mx records properly? Is your sendmail server accepting connections on a publicly reachable IP address or only on the loopback address, as per the typical modern distribution defaults? |

Ah, it was configured to the loopback. When I checked the "Default" box in Webmin, everything started working again. Thanks! |
