> Are there any plans to setup sendmail wiki? Hi Andrzej! Sounds like a good idea, found the SA wiki lately quite useful for some additional hints on fighting spam. Even added a little info myself to it. I am surprised how well adaptive greylisting still works, even if you need to let greylisting kick in at pretty low SA scores to make it really useful. But >10.000 low scores that didn't come back on a single day on one MXer are pretty good! Do you perhaps know if multi-line HELO greeting really confuses ratware to turn it away? I am not that sure about the effect. Sadly mentioned spam seems to raise lately, so anything is ful to keep it away as cheap as possible. Saw greeting pause which seems great for this purpose, but I am not running sendmail on those systems and sadly it doesn't seem to be available in exim.;( This would be a good idea for some sendmail Wiki, despite the basic m4 usage, which is covered already in the docs quite well, hints on fighting spam through the MTA should be very welcome. Best regards -- Michael Heiming (X-PGP-Sig > GPG-Key ID: EDD27B94) mail: echo zvpunry@urvzvat.qr | perl -pe 'y/a-z/n-za-m/' #bofh excuse 223: The lines are all busy (busied out, that is -- why let them in to begin with?). |

Perhaps anyone despite me got this right and is the reason for no answer other then mine? ;-) I'd be willing to put some work into the project, though unsure if I am the right one? English isn't even my native language, which might be a problem? -- Michael Heiming (X-PGP-Sig > GPG-Key ID: EDD27B94) mail: echo zvpunry@urvzvat.qr | perl -pe 'y/a-z/n-za-m/' #bofh excuse 197: I'm sorry a pentium won't do, you need an SGI to connect with us. |
