IMAP-utf-7

Does anyone have some stand alone code written in cpp that does the
IMAP-UTF-7 encoding and decoding? I don't want to have to write it on my
own if there is something already available.

in comp.mail.imap i read:

i would be surprised if the c pre-processor were capable of such a feat.

uw's c-client has code to translate between utf-8 and modified utf-7.
